Privacy

Directory London is an invite-only community directory. This page explains what we store and why, in plain English.

What we store

• Your name, handle, avatar and email address from X (Twitter) or LinkedIn, provided when you sign in.
• The phone number you provide when accepting an invite. We keep it private to support optional WhatsApp contact between members when that feature launches; it is not currently shown or shared.
• Your bio, website, and housing-search preferences, if you add them.
• Contact details you separately choose to add to a housing search or listing — these are shown only to signed-in, invited members, never publicly.
• Photos you upload to a space listing. Location metadata (EXIF/GPS) is stripped from every photo at upload.
• Who invited you — shown on your profile, as with every member.

What we don't do

• No exact addresses — listings are neighbourhood-level only.
• No exact rents — price ranges only.
• No selling or sharing of your data with third parties.
• No public access — the directory is visible to members only.

Deletion

Deleting your account removes your profile, housing search, listings and photos from our systems. Email privacy@directoryldn.com for any data request under UK GDPR.
